ARC
Athens Refugee Center is the place I was at allll day. I absolutely loved it! At first I was really nervous, because out of everything I was talking with the women there... annnnd all of them spoke Farsi....Unfortunately I do not! haha BUT that is alright I met a 15 year old girl name Alefria She was really the only one who spoke a little english. She was really sweet I hope I get to learn more about her the next time we have the tea room. What the tea room is, its a chance for the refugees to get off the streets and have a break with tea and the men play games and the children are taken care of which means the women get to relax. It was awesome. Then i switched shifts with Tiffany in the kitchen and served the tea with two of my teammates Ken (who is from California, and who will be our tour Guide of Corinth on monday) and Almira (who is from Russia and loves to clean) It was an amazing day today I am really really glad I am here.... and I am really really tired and sore but it's all worth it! Now I am off to bed! Hope you all have had an amazing day! tahtahfornow
