I have been away from my computer for the past 5 days. Me, Jessie, and Tiffany had the 5 days off while the rest of the team were in meetings all this weekend. So what did we do on our endeavors wellllll We decided to go to Santorini, and Mykonos (which are two little islands surrounding athens. I liked both of them,but if you think Santorini is all that the pictures say it is. Well then you are sadly mistaken. Yes there is a volcano, but pictures are VERY deceiving. If you decide to go there stay near the beach, it is very quiet and peaceful(and it has amazing food). Mykonos is what I pictured Santorini to be like. The white buildings, more touristy. Mykonos was easy to get around, and the beach was gorgeous. Ill be posting pictures probably tomorrow. Why? because we just got off a 5 hour boat ride, had to call a locksmith, have to shower, and have to wake up early for work.
I promise I am not here for adventure and site seeing, we just haven't been able to work lately. We did have a prayer meeting for 4 hours on Wednesday, that was really neat. We were able to worship as a team and present our request to the Lord. Tomorrow we have the tea room ( where there will be food and tea for the refugees) And I might be teaching english :) Thanks for keeping me in your prayers! They have been well worth it. Okie dokie this smelly gal is off to bed nighty night or good afternoon where you are :)
Ps. I got to ride a donkey in santorini.. was it worth it? I haven't decided yet lol ok that is all see you tomorrow WITH PICTURES! :D
